Shop Small This Holiday Season!

 I hope this finds you safe and enduring all of this the best you can! I have come up for air and wanted to share some great new products that have been added to my online shop. I've also listed some great gift ideas.


I will be getting one more restock from the lab before the New Year. It should arrive by next Wednesday. If you're going to need something, I would order it sooner rather than later, as the next restock will be in January. If you wanted something that is currently out of stock - just email or text me and I'll earmark one of my next shipment and let you know when it's in! There are only a couple of items currently delayed indefinitely due to pandemic-related fulfillment issues.

New Products!

  • Grande Lash MD 
    This is my new absolute favorite! An award-winning lash enhancing serum infused with a blend of vitamins, peptides, and amino acids to promote the appearance of naturally longer, thicker-looking lashes in 4-6 weeks, with full improvement in 3 months. No joke, this stuff works. I tested it out on myself during lockdown!
  • Avocado Q10 Hand & Body Lotion

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates can be purchased for services or a dollar amount instantly online. You can choose to print the certificate yourself or have it emailed to your recipient, even on a future date. I can also still provide a handwritten paper certificate, just be sure to allow enough time for shipping during December.

Gift Ideas
I created a special section in my shop for the holidays. It's a selection of things that make great gifts, that aren't specific to skin type or condition. Another good option is gifting a Product Consultation. I've been doing these virtually since before the pandemic. You can read about it on my Facial Treatments page.

Full Reopening This Week!

Woohoo!! I have received word that I can fully reopen for services starting this week. I know it's been a long, trying seven months for everyone. I am beyond excited to get safely back to work.


Next steps?
If you had a scheduled appointment that was canceled due to the pandemic, I will be reaching out to you shortly.  I will be going in the order appointments were canceled so please be patient with me! :) I will not be able to hold times - once I reach out it will be first come, first served. (Online booking is coming soon.) If you didn't have an appointment, but need one, just respond to this email and I'll add you to the reschedule list. 

My Safety Protocols
Your safety has always been my top priority, now more than ever. I want everyone to feel confident they can come into my space and relax, as always. Here are some of my well-established sanitation practices, with some new additions. If you have any questions or concerns about safety, please reach out and I'm happy to chat.

  • All non-disposable tools are sanitized w/ State Board-approved and hospital-grade disinfectants.
  • All common-area high-touch surfaces are cleaned between each client.
  • I wear a mask, face shield, and gloves for the entirety of every service.
  • A Molekule air-purifier, using patented PECO technology is running in my suite 24-7.
  • Weather & air-quality permitting, my windows are open between clients to allow for better ventilation.

48-Hour Cancellation Policy
My current cancellation policy is 48-HOURS for ALL APPOINTMENTS. I've had to implement this due to extended sanitation protocols which are significantly cutting into how many clients I can see a day. You'll receive a confirmation 3 days prior to your appointment. As always, if you need another form of confirmation other than email, please just let me know.

San Francisco has done an exceptional job doing the right thing, following the science, and keeping our numbers down. Let's all continue to do our part (even when it's hard), and keep this going! Thank you so much for all of your support throughout this crazy year.

October News - New Service!!


I hope this finds you well! So we're at about a month of the mask-on reopening, and I have LOVED seeing all of you who have come in for services. I have been very encouraged to see SF's numbers continue to go down, even as re-opening is expanded. Even so, I'm still unable to see approximately 85% of my clients so I've been working on a (literal) workaround until we are allowed to fully re-open. Drum roll please - I introduce to you...


The 2020!
A mask-on treatment that focuses on the forehead, eye area, neck, and decollete. Your skin will be cleansed and manually exfoliated, followed by a microcurrent treatment, firming mask, and LED light therapy. (As always, I will modify based on your skin's needs.)
Approx 60 min. $130.

Is this a little weird? Yes, of course, it is! But this is 2020 so why not! This treatment is not recommended for anyone who has contraindications for services with an electric current. If you have any questions, please let me know. If you'd like to schedule, just reach out to book an appointment.

Product Order Updates
Things continue to be impacted by the pandemic. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Shipments are taking longer to be delivered. The USPS deliveries have slowed, so bear in mind your shipment may take a few days longer than normal.
  • Getting something from me in a weird box or package? I've been trying to recycle as much of my shipping materials as possible to lower the imprint of shipping virtually ALL of my orders for the last 7 months, it also helps to keep my costs down while I am working at about 10% of my normal schedule.
  • Restocks are unpredictable. Ingredient and packaging sources have been affected by the pandemic as well. While I'm checking in regularly with my lab and vendors, I don't have control over when some items will be restocked. If there is an item out of stock you need, just let me know and I'll be sure to pull one aside and message you when the restock happens.

August News - FREE Ways To Support Small Businesses!

Wow, day 159 out of work for me as I type this. How are you holding up? I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I'm thinking of everyone affected & evacuated due to the fires, and of all the brave people fighting them in the midst of this pandemic. I'm feeling thankful that we're only dealing with the smoke here in SF.

Some of you have reached out about pre-paying for more future services (thank you!) but I have stopped accepting any more pre-payments. That may sound a little nuts, but let me explain. The outpouring of support I received in the form of pre-payments was humbling & heart-warming. I know I've said it already but it really was touching and meant a lot to me. When I am finally allowed to return to work, I will need cash flow to be able to remain open. When I was looking at the numbers, I realized I could be in a situation where due to pre-payments I will have next to nothing coming in, while my expenses remain the same (kinda like right now!).

Keeping consistent with your homecare & purchasing it from my online shop is really the best way to support my business right now. I am always available for consults via video, phone, or email if you need help choosing the right products, or solving a new skin challenge (maskne anyone?). I understand that a lot of folks are strapped right now, so I thought it would be a good time to list FREE ways to support small businesses right now (see below). These suggestions are great things to do for all the small businesses impacted by the current crisis. They are little things, but they mean a lot.

    I personally recommend doing this on Google, Yelp's business practices hurt small businesses so I don't use or support their platform (If you haven't seen it, check out Billion Dollar Bully).
  • Refer a friend or colleague when the madness ends!

3 Ways You May Be Sabotaging Your Skin Care Results

With the new year & new decade, it feels like a much-needed time for renewal. I'll be focusing on home care this month!

Your Home Care Is Responsible For 70-80% Of Your Skin Care Results
Yep, you read that right. My favorite analogy is this: If you get your teeth cleaned regularly, but never floss or brush in between, what's going to happen to your teeth? (Nothing good.)

What you do on a daily basis is going to have the most substantial impact on the health of your skin, even if you're getting regular facials or skin care treatments.
The 3 Things Sabotaging Your Results
  • Using too much, or too little
    Use too much of a product, and you may cause irritation or simply be wasting money. Use too little, and you just won't see the results (another waste of money). Your Skin Therapist can tell you how & when to use your products to get the best result.
     
  • Inconsistent Use
    Consistency is the key to real change. A product prescribed for nightly use will not change your skin when using it twice a week. Period.
  • Product Hopping
    I see this a lot. Using one thing for a week or two, then switching to that thing your friend used, or social media said was the hot new ingredient. Not only is this a recipe for potential irritation/inflammation, but for many products to truly effect change, they need to be used consistently, sometimes for 2-3 months. Patience pays off.
